Beginning therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out. This is usually how the process begins.
Reach out by phone, WhatsApp, or email to enquire about therapy, ask any questions you may have, or arrange your first consultation session.
The first consultation is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what has brought you to therapy and to think together about whether psychoanalytic psychotherapy is the right approach for you. There is no pressure to tell your whole story or to have the right words. We simply begin wherever feels possible.
If we decide to begin working together, therapy takes place in 50-minute sessions, typically two to four times a week. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is an in-depth form of therapy that develops over time through regular, consistent meetings, allowing us to understand the deeper emotional patterns and unconscious processes shaping your life.
Sessions are offered in person in Jaipur and online for individuals living outside Jaipur, including elsewhere in India and internationally.
Yes — everything discussed in session stays between us, with the standard exceptions required by law, such as a safety risk to yourself or someone else.
That's a common concern, and something we can talk through directly. You're not obligated to explain your therapy to anyone, and we can think together about how you want to handle it, if at all.
Not necessarily. Psychotherapy and psychiatric medication address different things, and I can help you think through whether a psychiatric referral makes sense for you, alongside our work together.
There's no fixed timeline. Some people come for a few months around a specific issue; others stay longer for deeper pattern work. We check in on this together as we go, rather than assuming one length fits everyone.
Yes. In-person sessions are held in Jaipur; online sessions are available for clients based elsewhere, in both Hindi and English.
